Jason “Jay McFly” Potchen, owner/ operator of nationally recognized McFly’s Gentlemen Shop (Based our of Crown Point and Lowell Indiana) is considered to be one of the most down-to-earth and transparent educators in the entire hair industry. With well over a decade worth of experience as a platform artist, public speaker, motivator, business and brand builder, Jay has traveled the world sharing his experiences and ideology of how the industry has treated him and how to maximize your time in your career. When he’s not educating, he’s been putting hair on the floor for almost 20 years professionally, with clientele that has included professional athletes, musicians, politicians and entrepreneurs. His entertaining, funny and detailed presentations have helped teach and motivate hundreds of stylists and barbers over the years, something he takes an enormous amount of pride in.
