Montalvo

Daniel began an interest in barbering at age 14 when he wanted to experiment with designs on hair. Now, with over 15 years of barbering experience, he owns three barbershops, a micropigmentation and tattoo studio, an eyelash studio and an academy for training in his hometown of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

He has won multiple awards during his career, including back-to-back awards at Barbermatch, Mexico. Outside of running multiple successful shops, Daniel believes in paying it forward to help others in his community. His team of barbers have collaborated with rehab shelters to offer free haircuts to those in need. He also works with barbers throughout the country to put on free barbering events to allow others in the industry access to continuing education and training.

Having used Andis® tools since the beginning of his career, Daniel is excited to be a part of the Andis Global Education Team where he can continue to pass along his knowledge and experience in barbering.
